Trick or Treat

The kids collected lots of Halloween candy!  Amanda was a creepy metal clown thing and Jack was a zombie princess.  Jack went with a couple of friends who helped push him up to the doors.  I'm holding Amanda's candy hostage unless she makes the bus in the morning this week.  She got a king-size 3 Musketeer bar (my favorite) which I have my eye on so she's a little worried...

Leaves!

The leaves are coming down on this warm & windy Halloween day.  The kids like to try & catch them and Jack is still able to this year...

 

Escape Artist

Around 1:30 am Jack came into our room saying Mr. T (I guess we know what the T stands for now) was on the floor.  I figured he was dreaming but when we went in, sure enough, the top of the cage was open and there was Mr. T, running around under Jack's bed.  Luckily, Mike was able to catch him pretty quickly.

Jack is now the proud owner of two gerbils.  He was going to get a turtle but had a last minute pet change.  These 2 are a bit more active than a turtle!  They devoured a toilet paper roll in about an hour.

Splash Party!

Jack and some friends from school had fun at his birthday pool party at the Y.  One of the gifts was a whoopee cushion which, for some reason, the boys all loved...

Cousins Bobby, Sarah, Molly, Farrell & Steven visited this weekend...

 

Goodbye 8, Hello 9!

Happy Birthday to Jack!  This weekend, cousins are coming (5 of them, the oldest is 9, & it's going to rain) and he's having a pool party at the Y on Sunday.

Pumpkins!

We went to Schartner's Farm today & picked out pumpkins.  We also had homemade red potato fries and petted some alpacas.

 

Jamestown

Fun visit with Mom-mom & Pop-pop!  I picked the kids up early on Weds. and we had a picnic lunch at Beavertail Park in Jamestown.
